ShortCrunch journey - Welcome Page and Blog ready

As I mentioned in my previous post, I started to work on ShortCrunch.com and will be logging the development under this topic, here. Though its only a very little step, but I am glad that I have made that.

The update for this week is that I have created a welcome page in Google Sites and a blog in Tumblr. I have also mapped the URLs for these two items.

I will be writing more about the steps to configure these in coming posts.

My Next Operation :-)

At times, I really behave like a crazy nut doing things with no reasons at all. One such habit was registering domains without any clear plans about using them. For a very long time, I wanted to work on some side project other than my daily work and every time some idea flashes inside my mind, I used to register a domain first, but thanks to laziness, I never do anything after that and then eventually forget about that and then start dreaming about the next.

This has happened several times. As of now, I have nearly 6 domains registered via godaddy.com, but none of them has been utilized even occasionally.

So to motivate myself to make use of those unused domains aka implementing my ideas - I am thinking about logging the activities here in this blog.

First of all, I will start to work in www.shortcrunch.com

I like reading short stories and watching short films, and I assumed there would be many people with similar interest. So, sometimes back, I thought about creating a community website - something like reddit - exclusively for short stories / films that are available in the internet and hence registered this domain. I liked the crunch part in techcrunch and hence this name.

To be honest, I don't remember any of the detailed plans I had for this domain. So its going to be fresh start for this idea. Hope I will be able to execute this time.

"Operation Weight Loss" - March 2012

The quick update : by the end of February 2012 my weight was 89 kg and now I am 85 kg. So that is 4 kg for this month.

Happpyyyyy :)

Few random thoughts:
  • Somehow made the habit to walk 5-6 kms every morning.
  • Jogging / Running is not an easy task as of now. I get tired very soon doing these than walking.
  • I was climbing the 11 floors in the office by steps. Though I didn't experience any problems, few of my friends says I might get knee problem later if I continue doing this.
  • Couldn't resist to Non-Veg food items. The intake was more compared to the prvious month.
  • Failed again in the plan to workout in the office gym. Certainly this is not going to happen even this month.
  • Heard from a friend that Surya Namashkar and some other yogas are more efficient in buring more calories than walking. Need to find a good master, if possible.
