Apple to discuss about iPhone SDK on March 6

When they first launched iPhone in 2007, Apple said the SDK (Software Development Kit) for iPhone applications will be launched by Feb 2008.

Last week the Business Week said the iPhone SDK will be delayed by few weeks.

Now Reuters reports that the Apple has made an official invitation to media and developers to discuss about the new features and SDK road map of iPhone :

"Please join us to learn about the iPhone software roadmap, including the iPhone SDK and some exciting new enterprise features," Apple said in an invitation sent to reporters.

The event will take place on March 6th, 2008 at 10 am Pacific time at Apple's Cupertino campus.

btw, what does this "to learn about Roadmap" mean???

does this mean that they are only going to discuss about the SDK and the launch will take some more time. Only the Apple knows.

Being a software professional, I do understand how releases get delayed.
Hence no complaints from me.

.....and moreover I only have a Nokia 3315 [:-)]

Dude, they are releasing the SDK on March 6th.

But if I were an iPhone owner I won't even care about SDK.People have been releasing fantastic Apps for jail broke iPhones for the last one year! All Apple wants is to milk more money out of iPhones and iPods using the apps SDK.
