The politicians would have never thought they will have a problem like this. The saddest part is that none of the two governments is ready to take responsibility. They just keep pointing each other to find a solution.If they agree with the Gujjars, in future everyone would come down to the streets and violently protest to be included in the SC/ST list. If they don't agree with them, then these politicians cannot use such promises as vote banks in coming elections.
There was a time, when people were not comfortable to be tagged with such so called low caste profiles, but today since there is a creamy layer block in the OBC category, everyone wants to get into this safer SC/ST category.
Is something missing in our current Reservation System or is this what it was done for - everyone fighting to get into one category?

Its one way of uniting people..don't you think so? Imagine every body is in one community and then there is no reservation any more.

If no fights for castes - anything is fine. Hope the next round of talks between the Government and Gujjars would solve this problem.

remember....india is the only country where people want to project themselves as Backward...than Forward....
i guess for this... we jus need to remove the caste box in the application form but again on the contrary , this box even if invisible will create problem.
i think the solution will be to pass a rule that, no more changs will be done to the category.
